Context:
Nerds get upset about new leftist subreddit that criticises their idol.
Nerds begin harrassment campaign against leftist that created it.
Harrassment lasts several weeks.
Victim documents 300+ cases of harrassment they reported that had no action taken.
Reddit removes documentation of it, suspends the victim and tells them to shut the fuck up about it or it's their neck.
Reddit leaves up all the harrassment. Only removes the documentation of said harrassment.

There has been no "back and forth". There has been one person receiving harrassment and one person documenting that harrassment.
I have honestly looked on in dumbfounded horror at this whole series of events. There is absolutely no looking at the situation any other way. Yes the user involved is ridiculously active and puts out absolutely enormous quantities of content but they don't engage in harassing anyone. They're basically just a leftist version of /u/Gallowboob.
The political nature of their posts attracts ridiculous levels of harassment because the harassers want to wear them down into quitting. This much is very obvious.
Yeah, it's so fucked up. R*ddit is really going hard on harrassing anyone who's actually left wing.
