      It's a weird simulacrum doll anyways. Originally it was sold as parts to put on a real potato. Then they made a toy of the potato. So it's a toy of a crude potato representation of a human. Very weird if you dwell on it.

      The "Mr. Potato Head" branding was changed to a non-gendered "Potato Head" but the Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head characters still exist. It's a big ol pile of inconsequence

              how the fuck is it even a thing still. i guess some things like that never die cause folks grew up on it and then buy it for their kids and the cycle repeats. It seems like something a kid would get bored of very fast. You can only do so many combinations? i have no idea really
