I'm curious what other people use to think they wanted to do.

I wanted to be a clown, for example, which knowing just even an ounce of knowledge about the clown industry, I'm very glad I never kept that dream. It's both highly competitive, some-what expensive (if you go to clown school + props) but also a dying industry. Really a double whammy in that area.

I think the only reason I wanted to be a clown was to make people laugh, I was never really into the aesthetic of it. I mean the big shoes are pretty dope but all that other shit seems like a bit much with the makeup and stupid dotted suspenders.

i have no idea why im asking this, honestly. i just randomly thought about how insane it would have been if i was actually a serious clown, seems fucking bizarre as hell to think about now

My local zoos are so highly competitive that people just shovel penguin poop for 5 hours a day most of the week with absolutely no chance they'll be getting a job. It's truly one of those jobs that requires a undying passion for. I tried applying for those gigs for awhile, it was a tough one to even get a call back from, but I get the appeal of it all.

I shit you not, I just got an email I just noticed about 10 mins ago about the zoo job I applied for maybe 6 years ago on one of those job aggregates. lol, I'd still be down to do that job tbh, but it's such a far cry away now. I don't really have the time to be able to volunteer as much as most of them require. I did when I was younger though!
