I'm curious what other people use to think they wanted to do.
I wanted to be a clown, for example, which knowing just even an ounce of knowledge about the clown industry, I'm very glad I never kept that dream. It's both highly competitive, some-what expensive (if you go to clown school + props) but also a dying industry. Really a double whammy in that area.
I think the only reason I wanted to be a clown was to make people laugh, I was never really into the aesthetic of it. I mean the big shoes are pretty dope but all that other shit seems like a bit much with the makeup and stupid dotted suspenders.
i have no idea why im asking this, honestly. i just randomly thought about how insane it would have been if i was actually a serious clown, seems fucking bizarre as hell to think about now
I wanted to be a children's author at first but....
In the most embarrassing realization of my American imperialist heritage I opened my 10-year time capsule from elementary school a while ago, and the note to myself basically said that I wanted to "be rich" so I "didn't have to do anything or have to work" man that shit was so embarrassing because I had literally no ambitions instilled in me by society other than escaping middle class servitude... I don't really even know what to say about it now other than I wish I was smart enough back then to understand what it really meant...........
