This playlist is pretty bad as an actual boomer playlist. If I played this playlist to my boomer dad, he wouldn't like it. A lot of the songs were released at an awkward period of time when he's no longer in high school but I wasn't born yet. Some of them like Smells Like Teen Spirit were released when he's at his mid thirties, so why would he care about that song?

An actual boomer playlist would be like:

    • The Beatles: Let It Be

    • The Rolling Stones: Paint It Black (one of the few on the playlist that's actually good)

    • Pink Floyd: Money or Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)

    • Queen: Pretty much any of their greatest hits (Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We are the Champions, Don't Stop Me Now)

    • Led Zeppelin: Stairway to Heaven, Immigrant Song, honestly anything in Led IV

    • The Who: Baba O'Riley, Won't Get Fooled Again

    • Black Sabbath: Iron Man

    • The Eagles: Hotel California

    • Simon & Garfunkel: Song of Silence

    • Jimi Hendrix: All Along the Watchtower

Hotel California is my problematic favorite; I can't call it nostalgia because it came out before I was born. I-was-saying
