This is a great resource! For DC I wanted to recommend the DC food not bombs chapter. I can definitely vouch for them being very active and a great group of people, at least as of a couple years ago (I had to move away from DC). No problem, thats great! I'd put a disclaimer though because I know some of the info on the map is out of date, and some of those chapters might be either dead or not that active. Also its horizontal organizing so each chapter is their own entity, just using the same name. DC was a really good group though and very welcoming, and the info on that map should be accurate, I can't vouch for every single food not bombs group though.
