Fuck man, all of this sucks so much but the chair part especially is so demeaning. Is that mostly an America thing? I've never heard of an explicit 'no sitting' rule here. Maybe I'm putting too much faith in our mostly useless government, but I want to believe that if anybody bigger than a small business tyrant tried that, they'd soon get smacked down for ableism or something.
its not just an american thing, but it is pretty much an anglo thing (canada and australia also force you to stand afaik). Death to the anglos :anglo-burn:

Probably is just an America thing. I've only seen a lack of chairs at like the registers when visiting the US.
There are chairs available for workers to sit down during their shift in South Africa and in Estonia as far as I've seen.
