I watched Cannibal Holocaust for the first time recently. That was a fucking mistake. I wasn't in a great headspace going into it due to me fucking up some things earlier in the day.

With it's reputation, I expected it to be more graphic. I mean at times it was, ffs there's actually killing animals on screen. I almost hesitate to label it a horror movie, at least in the traditional sense.

But throughout it all, I was just really bummed out and on the verge of tears the whole time. All I could think of was how fucked up the westerners were and how they absolutely deserved what happened to them.

Great movie, but it's definitely not easy to watch.
