Steven Mnuchin asserted Saturday the next relief bill will scale back benefits for unemployment in an effort to incentivize individuals to go back to work - and would also send a second round of stimulus checks.

    Can’t wait for the democrats to roll over and accept this without getting rid of the corporate liability shield, so we force people to go back to work and essentially send them into danger

      My b I thought it passed. Mnuchin still wants to remove the bonus and I don’t think the dems are going to fight him on it. His proposal for 70% of pay off you stay home will I think at best be increased to 80% but anything better would be a surprise to me.

        So that sucks but at least they'll keep paying unemployment, plus it sounds like there's another bonus coming. They're all fucking ghoulish assholes but it's not nothing, which I was legitimately concerned about.

          I mean only paying 70% to stay home probably won’t be enough for people. If someone was already struggling to pay bills before on full wages how would they do it on 70% wages.
