Wandavision (and Wanda in mcu in general) has done worse for Romani activism than anything else in this goddamn world. And I am only 40% joking. There have been over ELEVEN Wanda stans on twitter being outted as racefaking as Roma within the time the shows been airing alone. This show makes gadze act fucking wild.

Wanda is (sometimes) Romani in the comics, in the MCU she's "Sokovian" which seems to be a made-up South Slavic country, modeled after Bosnia-Herzegovina.
To be fair, Sokovia exists in the comics. I'd rather them making up new countries rather than fucking up for bad representation. But...

Well it’s more like they used a white actress and that is why people are upset. She also has said Gypsy before which to some people they still debate it’s a slur. But mostly I mean people care so much about her to the extreme they ignore any OTHER Roma issue or pretend to be Roma to “personally” excuse her. Pretty sure the movies also make her like Nazi-adjacent sympathetic which is... fuckin bad since in the comics she tends to be halfRoma halfJewish.
