A family member of mine works on 100% commission. Every two weeks, he gets paid a percentage his sales during that time. Recently, the company has faced a large amount of order cancellations due to delivery problems. This has created a huge pay issue as the company deducts cancelled sales from future commission. For example, if five thousand in sales made last pay period gets cancelled, the company will deducted five thousands from sales in his current pay period.

It's worth noting, that the company deducts from his current sales (which are used to calculated commission) rather than from his wages. Is this legal under Texas Law?

Also, fuck companies for rescinding mask mandates and the furniture business in general.
