I think it was the discussion over the banning of r/dogdiet, an offshoot subreddit satirizing the r/butchery and r/bbq subreddits discussion of eating cows, pigs, chickens, but with dogs.
It was joke photos of dogs in pots and people holding dogs, then describing them as delicious food. Banned for 'violence' within 3 days of creation by the Admins.
So VCJ was angry at this, and offshoots showed up like r/caninecuisine. I guess that is what the admins consider brigading. Any behavior that might criticize them.
