    Wait how can they be brigading? I thought brigading was when you posted on CTH and also posted anywhere else on Reddit, so if CTH is gone that doesn't seem possible

        I think it was the discussion over the banning of r/dogdiet, an offshoot subreddit satirizing the r/butchery and r/bbq subreddits discussion of eating cows, pigs, chickens, but with dogs.

        It was joke photos of dogs in pots and people holding dogs, then describing them as delicious food. Banned for 'violence' within 3 days of creation by the Admins.

        So VCJ was angry at this, and offshoots showed up like r/caninecuisine. I guess that is what the admins consider brigading. Any behavior that might criticize them.

    I dunno, I'm not sure I would agree that people who have strong beliefs about veganism actually are welcome here. I have a unique perspective since when this site started I was not a vegan, and now I am. It's honestly pretty discouraging to see arguments against veganism get a decent amount of upvotes. Jesus, when I was an omni at least I didn't make fucking excuses. I knew it was wrong but decided to continue with it anyway.

    Not the happiest to create an account here but might as well put some of my tofu into this basket in the case that r/vcj gets nuked, which hopefully won't happen. :vegan-v: :vegan-edge: Definitely not a very big fan of the authoritarian and speciesist stuff on this site though.
