If things like this exsist I'd love to be directed to it. If not, perhaps it could be built? if the points individually exist, compiling them in one place would be awesome.

Examples of things needed:

  • Complications of easy-to-follow recipes for budget meals. Ideally with estimates of cost per serving and possible substitute ingredients to accommodate food deserts.

  • Guides for Identifying vegan products and brands, where to shop, etc.

  • Guides on managing meal-prep for neural divergent people and thouse who may find it hard to cook regularly.

  • Guides for shelf-stable foods and preserving foods for those who find regular shopping difficult or who need to travel wider to find vegan products.

  • Guides for seasoning and flavoring food.
Non-vegan cuisine uses fats heavily to flavor food. the Maillard Reaction that most people know how to do with protein is difficult to replicate but can be done with things like caramelized onions. Vegan food is by no means bland but people don't know how to reach those flavors.

Seriously, While this kind of compilation would be useful for me specifically, I feel it would be widely useful. Simply saying "beans and lentils are cheap" in the middle of a struggle session doesn't help people learn how to cook either of them. Personally, I'm been trying to figure out how to cook beans for years but I've yet to figure out how to fold them into my diet outside of making refried beans with canola oil. I don't know any truly vegan recipes outside of Italian dishes like ragu where the meat can be left out and other pastas.

this is a really good idea! I've been thinking on working on something similar for a friend who is going vegan, so I'll keep this post in mind and share once I have something all together
