Why national security officials responded differently to BLM protesters than to Trump supporters.
Gee idk maybe because the police are white supremacists who let the maga mob in on purpose because they too were upset that Trump lost?
Yeah I mostly posted this because I thought the title was such an egregious quote. They know that 3%ers etc are coming with full gear while publicly advocating for assassinations, but damn it, they're sticking to their default position of "defend the fash", until hours later when, reluctantly, they regrettably must ask them to stop doing a incompetent coup.
It's all because they want to do a patriot act 2.0 and give the police even more power and permanently keep military in DC to scare liberals into thinking they need even more power.
I guess if the fash coup doesn't work, they'll go back to creeping fascism to "protect against" fascist coups. Lose-lose :agony-deep:
I mean I'll still stick by the maga mob not really being there to do a coup, just incompetent boaters lashing out because their wet boy lost. ofc this won't stop the dems from framing it as such, never let a crisis go to waste, so they're using this as their 9/11.
I'm honestly surprised and confused at the contents of this article. None of your propublica journalistic spidey senses tingle at "Military psyop officer arrested", or "mysterious suicides"? Like, you know the government funds terrorism. You know the government has controlled the Proud Boys nearly the entire time. You know they're itching for a new security crackdown.
Pretty sure there's a clear line of unanswered questions leading right to the seats of power and beyond.
You’ve convinced me to read the article, but oh god this kinda shit makes my eyes roll
it remains unclear how a rampaging mob of rioters managed to breach one of the most sacred bastions of American democracy
It's weird how the 'fire extinguisher' narrative was so prevalent initially and then shamelessly walked back. Cops are so practiced at repeating lies.
They didn't bonk the cop? How can fascists not to do a single thing right when they're escorted into the goddamn building?
From the article, it seems not.
"Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick died the day after the insurrection. That evening, the Capitol Police released a statement saying he had died from injuries sustained in the riot. Law enforcement officials initially said Sicknick had been hit in the head with a fire extinguisher. Several Capitol Police officers told ProPublica the same. ProPublica also spoke with members of Sicknick’s family shortly after he died. They said Sicknick texted them after fending off the mob to tell them he had been hit with pepper spray. The family told ProPublica that Sicknick later suffered a blood clot and a stroke.

CNN published a report citing an anonymous law enforcement official who told the news outlet that medical examiners did not find signs of blunt force trauma"Well there's always next time. There was even that really good photo of a goblin on the main stairway holding a fire extinguisher.
Someone did hit a cop with a thrown fire extinguisher, there's a vid of it. It just didn't look like the cop fell down or anything afterwards.
