Idk about Hitler Particles, but this is the legacy of Perot and GreenspanNader (got Greenspan crossed with Green Party, cause I've got 90s-era brain worms). Third parties are no longer the escape value for "legitimate" dissent. They have become the scapegoat for a failing electoral system.
"Oh, you think both candidates suck? Well then your support defaults to the candidate I don't like!"
The only response I give this is to wave my hand at the EC and say "My vote doesn't count anyway, so why bother casting it at all?"
