    get your average western omni with their mouth full of McDonald’s burgers to be angry at Indians hunting whales or seals or whatever and this can lead to legislation that cuts an indigenous community’s only lifeline

    We were hoping this wouldn't be much of an issue on here

      I'm not saying that people on this site act like that. I'm saying it's reasonable to be suspicious of animal rights activism which leads to legislation that ends up affecting marginalized minorities the most.
