    I don't know what you're talking about. Buying emoticon gold for David Frum op-eds and and scrolling past Trump ads to post "ORANGE MAN BAD" on reddit dot com is the highest form of civic engagement.

    semi-related: since I've deleted my r*ddit account, I've seen the current default front page, and I now see explicitly reactionary subs like r/conservative and r/libertarian showing up there sometimes, whereas when I joined just a couple years earlier, it was pretty much only generic apolitical subs like r/videos and r/pics.

      I got on the default front page recently and about a tenth of it was from r/cringetopia

      If you're out of the loop it tends to be a very anti-LGBT place
