Serious question. I dunno, I've always been the type of person who never farts in front of others. I'd rather hold it in and then do it when I'm in the clear. Maybe it's just a white person thing, but I never understood just ripping one in front of someone else and then being "proud" of it or whatever. I always thought it was gross.

Same thing with talking about any kind of defecation. I dunno, maybe it's my inner fash that has an "aversion to disgust" or whatever. I've just never been the type that feels comfortable talking about that kind of stuff.

Anyone else feel the same?

    Nah, growing up my parental figures were constantly policing farts and burps and even commenting on like stomach gurgles and stuff, and learning the etiquette around anticipating sounds and covering/excuse them was really taxing on my autistic ass, so as an adult I really leaned into not giving a shit about the involuntary sounds and smells my body makes for the most part. Really comfortable and freeing. Glad my partner is the same way haha
