I really expected better from this site's user base, as well as the mods and admins. Something like "the vegans are right, if you're not vegan you're an ass but we won't ban you, if you're anti-vegan gtfo".

Hey :im-vegan: and I've been on this comm from the beginning and I gotta say this whole thing wasn't one sided. There was a lot of bad faith from both sides here, I initially argued against a lot of the anti-vegan sentiments that I agree are reactionary. But there were a lot of shitty takes from the vegan side as well. I think going after the admins rn isn't good look since they're genuinely just trying to keep the site together. I really think everybody needs to work on engaging in good faith and assuming good faith from other users on here, we're all on the same side.
I saw no wrong takes by the vegans here apart from the ones we removed.

True the ones I was thinking of did get banned so I'm glad about that. And yeah maybe you're right they might not be acting in good faith I just wish more people would :sadness:
It was 100% more apparent from the anti-vegan side, literally any post made about anything to do with veganism was ratio'd and bombarded with idiotic anti-vegan takes. There were a view shitty takes from the vegan side of course and they were rightfully derided/banned.
