It’s a vibe imo, but I really like pacifist games. Or at least I’m really interested in games that can find a way to be engaging without relying on combat as the central way of interacting wkth the game.

I really appreciate them. I dabble in game design and i def find it tempting to just default to combat as a principle mechanic since it’s so well trodden.
I think it takes some really innovative thinking to find something outside of that sphere since there’s just no blue print for it. And for that reason theyre usually not as polished as combat based games since they don’t have that shared experience to pull from but I really appreciate them for their uniqueness and commitment to non-violence as a mechanic.
