Biden and Mueller have already appeared as ultra handsome caricatures of themselves in illustrated books for "children," so I don't think this is new. Unless you mean within the last four years or so, I don't remember all this type of sexualization of libs before Trump broke their brains.
There was always a general horniness for Obama but at least he was actually charming and handsome. Like with JFK back in the day. The idea that any average ugly old lib politician (or politician adjacent in this even more pathetic case) feels pretty new and embarrassing.
