Hey, I want to suggest that Tsing meant figuration as in configuration, but without the prefix con meaning "together." So given the fragmentary nature of supply chains, they don't con figure, they just figure.
The Santa Cruz milieu tsing comes from really likes this kind of word play.
I summarized “Supply Chains and the Human Condition” by Anna Tsing. It's the first time I've read something like this, so it's not very good.

If you feel up for it this would be so valuable as its own post
Thanks, I will clean up the formatting and do so.
Can you post it here or as an image or pastebin?
Sure, here it is.
