    The people who are currently mad would probably agree about her very lib takes. They care about Disney films after all.

      like, id get it if she called an asian film avatar inspired. but its literally directed by a white and hispanic duo for Disney (a company that has key people who worked on ATLA in major positions). like if she wasn't addicted to lib posting, she could've just ignored it and it would've gone away

        I feel like most of the people mad at her assume that Raya has mostly Asian American creative behind it. I've seen takes on Twitter saying that shes denigrating the accomplishments of asian Americans in Hollywood or something.

        Literally all of the directors and producers for Raya are non asian and like 5/7 writers are non Asian too.

        That's a real conversation that people should be having. Disney these days is producing these movies inspired by various poc cultures, and they bring on like, 1 or 2 people from that culture to be like tokens. Literally go and look at the IMDb for Moana, Soul or Coco. Look at writers, directors, producers. Mostly whites, 1 or 2 people from the culture depicted
