petition to petition against petitions against doing cringe shit. I have to avoid being cringey IRL, so please don't extend that to my forum life too, thanks.

This reminds me of a joke (excuse the adultism).

Three workers are on a construction site, a newbie is with them, from time to time one of the elders yells a number and the others laugh. After a day or two, the newcomer asks: "What about the numbers and the laughing?". He is told, since they work in capitalist accord they have no time to jovially joke around and as such they designed a system of a 1-to-1 mapping of numbers to jokes.

The next day the newcomer wants to pitch in when the situation sounds right and he chooses and arbitrary number and yells it, much to his disdain, the working crew falls silent and scolds him: "That is nothing to joke about, kid!"

Is the 9th type the same, are memes the same as such a list of jokes?

It is tooo boring to be an official podcast. That style works when you have no TV, no radio, no sex and can sit 90 minutes together with your comrades in large proletarian lecture halls before having drinks after, but not today.

Breht rules okay. That last ep slapped so hard it finally got me to start reading Blackshirts and Reds.

Personally I'd vote for the Antifada but RLR is also cool.

I want to like Antifada. They just don't feel of the masses enough to me.

      I'll try another listen.

I feel like they are some of the most working class podcasters. Sean is literally a construction worker. He is also in a union. Jamie works on the Majority Report. They have actual jobs and don't just collect patreon money and spend it on coke like Chapo does. No disrespect to the dry boys, I also listen to Chapo but I feel like they are more of an entertainment podcast as opposed to the Antifada. Listen to the Antifada episode with Brace Belden or the one with Virgil before the election, those are some of the best ones.

Antifada has also had real live Union organizers on. I don't remember the exact episode, but the one about the NYC Hospital strike was particularly good. The brand of humor on antifada is a little different- less "morning zoo" more sarcastic snark. Jamie is the Daria to the Dry Boy's Beavis and Butthead.

Also, Jamie left TMR recently youtube video

Interesting. I haven't come across that so far and I have listened to quite a bit. Would be interested to hear the specifics.

The host co hosts another podcast, Red Menace, with a trans person. I know that doesn't make up for any transphobic statements, but it at least suggests that he isn't a transphobic extremist.

oh to be fair it is really late for me and my mind might be playing tricks on me, I don't remember shit and my concerns might be entirely made up and I'm getting confused with a different podcast or something

If my memory is to be believed, it was something that was sort of class-reductionist and it involved Amber somehow (?) maybe as a guest to the pod but again im very dehydrated and have spent too much time tryna come up with China-affirming agitprop for the past few hours

edit: I meant to put "maybe" in a few places in here soemwhere but idk 美国人杀死了自己的人民,就好像他们是同类相食的啮齿动物一样。

Yeeeeh I don’t think Amber has ever been on RevLeft, she’s way too lib. You might be thinking of something else.

Not saying you’re wrong, happy to be shown that I’m wrong on this, but I’ve listened to probably a hundred episodes and it doesn’t seem like something Breht (the host) would ever come out with.

I know it's been a while but I got it confused with RedScarePod (which is more widely known to be shitty anyway)

            RevLeft is good!
