        I mean if the Austrian school of economics can get away with Praxeology, I can get away with giving Marx credit for this.

        ("Austrian School economists, following Mises, continue to use praxeology and deduction, rather than empirical studies, to determine economic principles." Yeah, let's just ignore empirical data, and just use deduction, and in order to avoid being called out on our bullshit we will avoid making any predictions or using any kind of mathematics. )

          I remember someone on reddit whining to me a decade ago about this stuff.

          Praxeology is the scientific study of human action, which is purposeful behavior. A human acts whenever he or she uses means to achieve an end that he or she subjectively values. Human action is thus teleological or intentional; a person acts for a reason.

          Pure fucking ideology. Basically "everything you do, you wanted to do".
