Neoliberalism's inconsistencies can be summarized as such: neoliberals want the neoliberal status quo to be perpetuated, no matter how tattered and ragged it already is or how much a growing proportion of the world hates it, and they want to feel smart and superior for their status quo advocacy because it feels good to receive colonial treats while feeling superior for being the recipient.
