I posted a thing here about ppl who are in DSA getting involved with the International Committee if they want to help organize an anti imperialist anti war campaign against a cold war with china, and got good responses. Posted it in r/genzedong and got the most cringe terminally online leftist responses ever. lol ppl who dont do anything but shitpost online calling me a liberal while im literally trying to organize a campaign like this and help push back on propaganda is so off-putting, do people just have zero self awareness how they sound? How is it that this site manage to get over that kind of cringe hyper sectarian shit thats so prevalent among so many online leftist spaces?
Moderation basically. Sectarianism was discouraged and heavily moderated early on so now most people know not to do it and pick up on the culture

It feels like sometimes this place gives those types responses. However I'm glad that your response did better here. For some reason, I just remembered r/genzedong thinks we are anti China.
