    I just keep thinking about how China has a maglev train that covers the approximate distance from New York to Chicago in 4 hours

      I used to take the Amtrak line from Chicago to Syracuse and it took sometimes as long as 15 hours because Amtrak doesn’t own the tracks lol.

      These nerds aren’t taking into account that services such as the USPS and Amtrak aren’t given the full amount of support they need to function efficiently.

          American liberals rely on the belief that institutions can be reformed and improved with “better governance”. This totally ignores that Capital will seek new markets in areas it doesn’t operate. Which is why these public services are slowly being eroded away. USPS’s death would pave the way for a whole new market for mail and commerce.

      That's high-speed rail with a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h). The only fast maglev that China has in service is the maglev to Pudong Airport in Shanghai. It's only 18 miles long.
