I mean what if your son won’t be able to give you grand kids if he doesn’t get a degree is a genius way to market universal education, but a lot of the shit they said about college educated women only wanting to date college educated men ignores that what they’re really talking about is social/class reproduction, which is impacted by falling living standards and the realization that needing a degree to brush your teath is just bourgeois gate keeping. Seeing as most college jobs are either unpaid or basically boil down to you being a secretary or a bureaucratic underling, it makes sense that men are starting to favor more working class professions. (That and the simple fact that there is higher pressure on men to be self reliant whereas white sorority sisters usually have parental support) The so called chads that cnn thinks are getting too much pussy are just dudes who also have daddies protecting them and letting them be gym rats rather than average joes stuck at McDonald’s 8 hours a day during their formative years.
