  • PNW US, late 30s, and yes. I learned how to drive a manual on an ATV when I was around 11 or 12. From there it was easy to adapt to doing it in a car and I've owned a couple of manuals over the year, though I prefer an automatic for the comfort. I think if I were doing any high performance driving/racing, I'd prefer a manual for the control, but I'm not, so I don't currently own one.

  • I've been using it and it works pretty well. It won't block all ads in some apps (like kids games) at least with the default config, but it's saved our devices from gigs worth of ads. I think on my wife's phone it's blocked something like a million ads and I'm sitting at 580,000 blocked on mine after about a year. It's nice that you can put it on multiple devices too.

I think PiHole is good too but only works at home. I also use Firefox with UBlock so I have that whitelisted in AdGuard.

  • I think this is really becoming mainstream. I've been punishing myself printing for two years now and aware of it for about 10 years and have seen quite the shift toward mainstream appeal especially with the new crop of printers coming out like the P1P/X1C that are supposed to remove a lot of the frustrating hassle and electronics/CNC knowledge that is/was required. These things were being made out of wood just a little over a decade ago! Now you can get a fully enclosed MMU CoreXY machine for the price of a smartphone. I really hope this extends to CNC and laser cutters soon.
