Gotta be circular breathing. It's an advanced technique where you're breathing in with your nose and out with your mouth at the same time. I could never get the hang of it

Same reason Ted Bundy loved Utah. Mormons are easy targets.
Higurashi and Umineko, both by the same author.
Higurashi was a guy looking at all those weird dating porn games you were talking about and saying "what if the base emotional response you went for with one of these wasn't horniness but pants-shitting terror?" There's like one scene per chapter that's anime cringe but the further you get into it the less of that there is.
Umineko, the follow-up, is the current argument for narrative video games as capital A Art and I'll leave it at that.
Really simple. If you were a materially well off white liberal who wasn't rich enough to think you were above police retaliation, you stayed inside, avoided putting any kind of action towards your beliefs, avoided any situation where you might have to test and reinforce said beliefs, and wrote off the riots as meaningless because they meant you would have to go outside and actually do something as a leftist other than posting on a forum or participating in glorified reading groups.
There's no excuse for not taking action to defend lives unless you're physically unable.
Unorganized, unchanneled rage strikes/protests happened all the time in tsarist Russia and the Bolsheviks were at every single one they could be at. It took dozens before the fruit bore
It's the only fast food place where you can order two chicken quesadillas with a side of chicken quesadilla and another side of chicken quesadilla and a drink for under 10 bucks.
La Dispute and Car Seat Headrest are on here. Those two alone would be worth admission in non-covid times.
Acoustic guitar is a terrible instrument in the hands of 99% of its players.
Country that uses fuller production is just worse pop. Literally just trying to be pop music with a cultural affect except that culture is a conscious attempt by capitalists to capture, alter and eventually produce their own self-conscious consumer base.
There's an interesting story to be told about country being Capital's attempt to produce an identity and culture for upper-middle class whites after The Blob ate everything they originally had but the aesthtics of the thing are lacking severely.
IME coke is sharper but more bitter (for an extremely curved grading of bitter, they're both liquid sugar.)
Fuck it, I'm descending into full insanity now.
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LAMB OF GOD
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LAMB OF GOD
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LAMB OF GOD
American football is like literally the worst sport you could pick for that argument. It's like saying chess is just guys moving wood around. Technically true, but the strategic elements on display make it fascinating for anyone watching with knowledge of how the game works. And in football you obviously combine that with how athletically capable your players are of carrying out these strategies.
Soccer or Hockey are mostly just people running around. Football has all kinds of weird niche shit that makes it fascinating.
There was a time I used the words "friendly reminder" in everyday speech. Now I break out in hives.
My body is a holy temple full of cum and double Stuf Oreos.
I am once again asking you to just directly comment on whatever article ticked you off and stop getting mad online at a new type of guy you made up in your head.
Any division you perceive between the arts and the sciences is entirely culturally manufactured. People with engineering degrees don't have to drink a potion that makes them hate art to graduate. Everyone from music theorists to avant garde sculptors use advanced math in their work. The cutting edge of science and philosophy are in constant academic dialogue with each other.
Several of them live peacefully integrated into Markarth and surrounding villages (well technically Reachmen I guess, not Forsworn) and Madenach's rebellion is explicitly talked about as a new unusual thing.
Open rebellion? I thought Madenach's rebellion came about as a direct result of the Markarth Incident?
I'm gonna defend Markarth here and say that the Markarthan Nords are colonizers and the Forsworn are colonized only to the extent that, say, Morocco was colonized by Arabs. Over a millennium of cultural entrenchment and a large-scale integration and continuation of the native population is not suddenly negated by some disaffected rural citizens in the hills suddenly acting rowdy and affecting an imagined cultural history they haven't really cared that much about until economic times were suddenly harsh in the middle of a war.
Ethnonationalism is in fact bad.
A lot of men do grow up beating the shit out of each other for basically no reason. I grew up in a family of all brothers. One of my older brothers has two girls and a boy now, and the level of sheer physical violence we were allowed to get up to on each other over stupid kid shit because "boys will be boys" (we'd get into full-on wrestling matches with punches and kicks and generally only be called out if anyone went for the face) versus how quickly my nephew/nieces get called out by their grandparents and parents for like, pulling on something they want aggressively, really served as a "oh shit this is why society is like this" check for me.
Kill your heroes. It's not just bad, it's terrible chief.
They're literally just frats but for middle-aged, usually settled men. Far less wild and rapey, more grill-and-charity-drive-y. They do rituals and rites because having secret dress up with your boys is fun as shit, it essentially serves the same social function as any in-joke.
