Nietzsche was one of the most anti-nihilists there was, actually. There's a great academic/scholarly book called The Affirmation of Life: Nietzsche on Overcoming Nihilism that goes into great detail about this.
I married my wife because we have the exact same politics (communist), and she's an academic who teaches race, gender, and transnational feminism. That said, she's not really "online" and doesn't "get" the dirtbag left. But currently we're both reading Black Marxism by Cedric Robinson with a small reading group and have some great discussions about it. We have our differences like any couple, but overall I would never give up having a partner so inline with my values and politics.
