  • My theory is that this happens due to self-selection bias: moderating a subreddit basically boils down to doing a bunch of unpaid labour in return for a meagre amount of power over other people, so it generally attracts individuals who are willing to do a bunch of unpaid labor for a scrap of power over others i.e. petty nerds. Of course, none of this applies to our glorious hexbear mods :scared:

    Ironically, high quality segregated bicycle infrastructure makes it better to drive, anyway. More cyclists means less car traffic.
