If the idea of Joker reformed intrigues you, check out Batman: White Knight. It was a limited issue comic run set in an alternate universe where Joker reforms his life of crime and becomes an attorney. He uses his new legal mind to go after Batman for the millions in property damage he's caused and the hundreds of people he's crippled. Comics are very easy to find free online.

That's an insight that seems obvious but I hadn't considered before. I try very hard not to touch anybody who isn't engaging first or someone I know closely.

Digi Tamers was certainly an interesting take for the series. I appreciated the slightly more serious tone as someone who grew up with the shows. But I really enjoyed the fun combinations we'd get with adding those power cards (even if it was a shameless add for the cards, which I bought lots of). I always thought the first adventure was a discussion on 90s era capitalism's effect on children and Digi-Tamers I think is no different. The competition between Digimon to absorb each other is just like capitalistic competition, especially since many of the tamers were morally opposed to it but their Mon's had to do it anyway to survive.
