Yes there was a lot of hype during the kickstarter. I really would like to play it but there's no way I was gonna drop $100 on a game that even its biggest fans couldn't say how it was really different.

One night ultimate werewolf is probably my favorite party game. It does everything other big social deduction games do with so much less filler and no player elimination.
On TTS I couldn't even figure out how to make codenames work. But in general I really like Wingspan, Photosynthesis, and Azul. I want to get into something heavier, like Food Chain Magnate or 18xx, but even before covid I didn't have anyone else to play those with.
God I miss game nights so much. I've tried tabletop simulator but it's just so fucking wonky I feel like I need to take a class on it
"Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."
Ok now tilt your head a little more. Yeah. And you, hold both hands. Good now hold it there.
This is the same logic used to explain why capitalism is so great. Competition initiates progress and without it bill gates never would have invented the iphone.
Really accentuating the fash in fashion there
XCOM for sure. Into the Breach is also an exceptional tactics game. Not an RPG but a rogue-lite. Wargroove is also really fun, a lot more similar to Advance Wars if you played any of those.
I don't mind the anime cringe but I also couldn't get into disgaea for all the grinding.
I clean it out pretty regularly just to keep it from overheating but it makes zero difference in the noise.
The ps4 is loud as fuck, the fan is almost always going full speed. I just want to play bugsnax while my gf is sleeping.
Yeah sure but being exploited directly by the military industrial complex can radicalize people too.
Bruh our sitting president has had constant sexual assault scandal for decades. Biden got literally metoo'd this year and he was just elected.
Richmond VA is pretty rad and would be a relatively closer move depending on where in WV you are. It's mostly black and white so not quite as multicultural as some bigger cities but there's definitely lots of class diversity. Hell of a lot more affordable too. Decent music scene and great art scene since VCU is right in the heart.
I'm talking about Gaddafi's green book, in which he envisions his ideal socialist theocratic society with a very strict patriarchal structure. He states that a woman's primary role is motherhood and any work or education that is not conducive to that is dictatorial. And that contraception is tantamount to murder.
Why does he get a pass on shit like that? How is that not reactionary?
This is simply an observation I have. I am asking with an open mind, seeking my worldview to be challenged. I want to understand. But I guess I'm not welcome if I don't already agree with you 100%
Why is it wrong to expect both though? If a country removes the shackles of british and american exploitation and simply persecutes it's marginalized people all on its own, why do we consider that a resounding success?
If woke capitalism is equivalent to open fascism, how is patriarchal conservative socialism unapologetically better?
I have not addressed many other comments because I'm not here trying to argue a point. I asked the question because I don't know any better. Fuck me for that I guess
It is complicated though. The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend. How does the dogma of anti-imperialism absolve him of all other policies and goals?
I was asking a question in good faith. I want to learn. I just see a lot of contradictions in who gets routinely roasted vs unapologetically celebrated. Just seems like any leader wanting to be free from western imperialism automatically absolves them of any other wrongdoing. And any elected official who isn't calling for the immediate abolition of capitalism and execution of all landlords is just a grifter.
My dad was eligible and opted out because covid "isn't even dangerous." Just in case you were wondering if dumbass right wingers working in health care could still possibly be in denial this late in the game
