  • I'm going to be a cashier. Our store has a lot of self-checkouts, so most of the people that use the normal checkout are either older, on SNAP/WIC, or both (got my first anti-mask rant yesterday). Kinda nervous about facing shitty customers since I'm both autistic and trans, but the pay is better than anywhere else and working for a large chain protects me somewhat from discrimination.

who do you think performed all of those forced sterilizations on marginalized groups? Doctors were lobotomizing gay people as recently as the 50s. We're still suffering the effects of slavery even though it was a century and a half ago. Medical homophobia, transphobia, and racism were practiced as recently as 30 years ago. I will admit that most doctors have similar class interests to the proletariat, but they've historically been used as instruments of institutionalized bigotry.

eh, good point. I'd probably put them in C tier since the consequences of having to pay too much on your bill isn't as bad as the consequences humans denied medical care face.

what's your rationale? I put doctors in D tier because I feel that general practitioners have way too much power over the patient-doctor relationship. For instance, POC, women, and trans people have all historically suffered at the hands of discrimination from doctors, and I don't see a similar phenomenon with veterinarians.
