Obviously the black students at our school don't want someone like her to speak, but we're ranked as one of the top 20 most conservative schools in the country, so I'm not sure what we can do.
be careful to not dox yourself
this info could be pieced together with other info about yourself by malicious people who could discover your identity

:deeper-sadness:
Well... At least activists made it more expensive and difficult to go to the chud rally. That's a victory by itself.
Complain to the university. Explain that shes anti-intellectual and anti-academic and that she will teach the students to distrust the university. Other then that, be honest and tell them shes an extremist.
I'd really like to not play into the 'cancel culture' narrative and give the TPUSA a lot of free publicity, but I'm not sure what else I could do in this kind of a scenario
People will complain about cancel culture no matter what method you use to stop this event. Do what's effective.
Nothing cancel culture about "university is not the place for anti-intellectualism" but yeah I can see how that might backfire. It would have to be framed carefully.
She's literally going to complain about cancel culture even if it doesn't get stopped.
Go online and book as many free tickets as you can. Give them to your favourite hecklers or leave the seats empty.
Imagine spending your [parents'] hard earned dollars on an expensive education (32k! when did state tuitions get so pricy?) and using that privilege to uphold police brutality.
Post about it in your school's subreddit if it exists. Point out why she's an idiot there. Might be worth drumming up a protest group there.
I saw this on Leftbook before she started charging and reserved my two tickets and darn it, won't be able to attend. 😜 I hope it got enough saturation it'll be mostly empty.
Sit in the front and just cough the whole time, loudly announcing "you could not taste your coffee this morning."
I would recommend organizing some sort of protest against the event and perhaps being in the crowd to heckle her, especially if its responding to something she says (rather than just being an annoyance, which makes her look better).
Bingo, it'll be much easier and more productive to organize a counter protest/event
