Obviously the black students at our school don't want someone like her to speak, but we're ranked as one of the top 20 most conservative schools in the country, so I'm not sure what we can do.

Complain to the university. Explain that shes anti-intellectual and anti-academic and that she will teach the students to distrust the university. Other then that, be honest and tell them shes an extremist.

I'd really like to not play into the 'cancel culture' narrative and give the TPUSA a lot of free publicity, but I'm not sure what else I could do in this kind of a scenario

People will complain about cancel culture no matter what method you use to stop this event. Do what's effective.

Nothing cancel culture about "university is not the place for anti-intellectualism" but yeah I can see how that might backfire. It would have to be framed carefully.
