The Star Wars Cantina
The Star Wars Cantina
The first 70 minutes were kinda boring, and I was thinking if I should even watch until the end. Glad I stuck around.
That kid was definitely trying to start a reactionary coup, inspired by :hide-and-seek:
It's fun to stay at the YMCA

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the argument was already made at least as early as during the colonization of America that it's not enough to live on and use land for it to be ones property, but rather "developing" the land gives one that right.
I don't usually enjoy football much but this game was a lot of fun to watch
China Relents, Lets U.S. Export Control Inspect 3D NAND Maker YMTC
Normally, the Chinese government refuses to allow U.S. export controls inspectors access to domestic companies. However, the government made an exception in the case of YMTC and some other firms from Tianxia, most likely because YMTC, and the semiconductor industry in general, is so essential for the country.
It's too early to guess what the U.S. export controls inspectors will find, but at least YMTC won't be blacklisted — for now. That said, four leading U.S. makers of wafer fab equipment have already stopped working with YMTC due to the latest export rules imposed by the U.S. government in October, as they needed to get appropriate export licenses from the Department of Commerce.

I know nothing about this interim president, but I smell IMF loans incoming
After many years of precarity I finally managed to save up a half-decent economic buffer this year. Yay.
Me: I want my real teeth replaced with gold teeth!
Doctor: sighs Because of socialism, I am forced to comply
Me: I changed my mind, put my real teeth back in!
Doctor: Yes sir..
There were drills back in October at least.
Switched to Linux at first when my old laptops drivers weren't supported in Win 10. Linux Mint worked, drivers and all, out of the box.
AI wasn't nearly that advanced back in the 90s, so this makes sense actually
America did genocide in Korea, against Iraq (especially in the 90s) Vietnam, the British did genocide in India etc. etc.
I'm glad no one will be allowed to deny these genocides anymore
I feel bad for the Dreamcast being so overshadowed by PS2. I couldn't see any difference between the two in graphics at the time, on top of which the PS2 came out later and was more expensive. They also took a lot of risk experimenting with things like the memory card being like a little game boy in your controller. Online games were a great idea, but it didn't work very well in those early days.
I wonder how these people would feel about summary execution of white collar criminals
(Actually I don't)
They're gonna use this at some mass shooting and end up killing more innocents than the shooter
Not willing to be outdone, the Japanese have unveiled a home service Seppuku Bot named Hara-chan; a cute pink-colored robot ever ready with a blade in hand for those who want a dignified passing. Prime minister Kishida said that Hara-chan is killing two birds with one stone, hoping it will alleviate the burden on the shrinking working age population and of the growing number of elderly citizens. Some municipalities, however, have said that Hara-chan is too expensive, and opted for a cheaper migrant labor option.
