What about a country that bases it’s entire economy around its so-called biggest enemy? That makes even less sense to me. Like, yeah they’re really gonna do something to China, the country that makes everything down to the shirts on our backs. I don’t understand the world.

I think it’s partly because a lot of them believe they are “educated” and they’ll tell you about it. If they can get a degree without ever hearing a critique of capitalism they assume one doesn’t exist because they would know if anyone did.
