Jeff Stein shared a graph saying that cumulatively a family of four which lost 1 income would have gotten like $65k over the past year in assistance.

It's kind of a high end estimate IMO, because if you had 1 unemployed parent for that whole year - you probably wouldn't need to have $8,000 in childcare expenses waived.

A Chapo Chatter liked your post so much, they expropriated it, turned it into an agitprop meme, and posted it on reddit :gold-antifa:

  • GOP in 2022: Republicans want to raise the minimum wage to $10 an hour, the Democrats do not. In fact many of them voted against raising the minimum wage last year.

Dems in 2022: WE FOUGHT LIKE HELL, WE THREW EVERY PROCEDURE IN THE BOOK TO TRY AND PASS THIS WAGE!

Us: Uh, no you fuckin' didn't? :doomjak:

  • If you're like me, and you occasionally argue with libs on twitter and you see someone saying some ignorant shit like "Well even if :top-cop: overrules the Parmesantarian, you don't have 50 votes", just tell them we do have 50 votes. Its funny.

"You mean to tell me there is a democrat who would oppose Biden's relief plan because of some purity test? What is wrong with them?"

Bad faith arguments get bad faith responses.
