Rotten Sound from Sweden are quite explicitly anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist in their lyrics. And are also just unbelievably good.
You should check our Corrupted, who I’ve been listening to non stop for about 15 years now. Suffocatingly heavy Japanese doom. I don’t think they are on any streaming service but their albums are all easy to find on YouTube. I’m not sure if they are officially leftist, but they definitely have a dystopian worldview and anti-capitalist sensibilities.
I was about to go to sleep but I couldn’t stop myself from scrolling and scrolling. How is this person real? Who has the time and energy to tweet and tweet and tweet all that bullshit ?!
This game was my shit back in the day when it came out, I spent way more countless hours in this than ff7. Real ass nostalgia here. The biotech lab music was better tho.
Forgot to reply earlier but thank you! This is helpful.
Seeing this in popular was how I found out the sub got banned. I took a screenshot too, I guess as a reminder of the absurdity of those bans.
Plus side is I use reddit like 90% less. Now and then I find myself getting sucked in to it and inadvertently expose myself to brain worms but it’s much easier to log off now.
Yeah 100 %. The solidarity that comes about from all those 12 hour days, from the usually illegal working conditions, and finding your place in your adoptive restaurant fam is real as hell.
Another hospitality comrade here. I am a sommelier. I realize how ironic a socialist sommelier seems but being surrounded by opulence and wealth, the insane culture of consumption and fetishization , and the bourgeoisification of food and wine has been such a strong radicalizing force to me.
Modi being ranked that high is pretty dark. Is he still very popular in India?
Thanks for taking the time to show me this, much appreciated !
Can somebody point me to some reading or listening that’s a good overview of the Tibet situation? I understand the basics and know a bit about the CIA / British interference but I’d like to have a more thorough understanding.
I am a sommelier, worked in several fine dining restaurants, work for a wine importer now, and I 100% uncritically support this post. People sure are good at ruining things
