Given the shit coming out of certain state's legislatures I am inclined to say maybe 2024 isn't the year for boosting republicans.

2016 would have been the time for it. Unfortunately.

    ....

Then again, if you use the money to give every trans adult an AR-15 and 300 rounds of 5.56 I'd say godspeed. Except Caitlyn Jenner.

Unethical part would be t-shirts sourcing :shrug-outta-hecks:

Use the shittiest possible screen printer so that most of the letters fall off after one wash. Not all of them, mind you -- so you may be able to experiment with the wording to find the funniest possible combination of missing letters. Bonus points if you use different temps/adhesives for different characters/graphics.

      TL;DR: RUMP 2 24

this is absolutely the case. back in 2016 the screen printing shop i worked at was in on the grift. sold thousands of maga/lock her up/whatever shirts. we used ebay and gave the option of exercising your :freeze-peach: on a haitian-made gildan shirt or a domestically sourced union-made tee (for like $3 more). guess which one these goblins chose 99% of the time…

we assuaged our consciouses by donating some of the profits to planned parenthood. :shrug-outta-hecks:

Bayside is a brand that has a union -made option. Royal Apparel does too. there have got to be more options out there. those are just the ones i know from being in screenprinting

No you would be doing merchant capitalism, unless you would printing signs. mugs are fairly ok though, they are more automated and made in china I think, not bangladesh

I'm surprised Croatian has so many cognates. or just borrowed words? idk. spontaneous, panic... these aren't words I would have expected to be loan words.

Spontaneous and panic have Latin and Greek roots, respectively. I’m not familiar with Croatian at all but I’m not surprised that Latin and Greek have had similar influences on it as in English, so I think that explains the cognates.

it seems very "sell the rope to the ppl that will hang you" to me bc spreading fash shit is literally working against leftist interests :data-outdoor-cat:

you'd be better off just helping organize a place / salting

campaign merch in America doesn't really function as effective propaganda. it's a way for members of the political fandoms to validate their identity through consumption. get that money.

To what degree are you willing to become invested in the grift? If it's a bubble, what's your plan for the burst? If it's profitable, would you be willing to stop when the shit's trajectory intersects with the fan?

Maybe. Just don't be too clever with the designs and donate all the profits to trans people and mutual aid orgs.

If you profit off it without doing that... not good, don't do that.

Do it. That market is going to be saturated no matter what you do. Nothing you can do will change what is going to happen in 2024. It's better that you take their money than some fascist do.

If they can sell us the rope, we can sell them the t-shirt.
