I think he's more likely to go down the "I'm the only real leftist" route. His audience is pretty committed to believing they're hardcore leftist revolutionaries who are fighting capitalism by voting for Biden.

He 'jokingly' uses the term 'anarcho-bidenism'
He makes vague gestures to anti-capitalist talking points, but will immediately abandon all that at the drop ofa hat to defend liberal politicians. He's still calling people "Bernie-or-busters" for refusing up vote for a capitalist war criminal.
Yeah, that's what I was getting at. He's actually to the right of Rachel Maddow.
I at least understand how at a glance he could be mistaken for a leftist, or at least an MSNBC "progressive," but it should be obvious by now he isn't! Like, one of his biggest things is ranting about the evils of indigenous rights groups, under the assumption that they're trying to reclaim their land so they can immediately turn around genocide the white settlers. And that's when he's not ranting about trans people or pushing for war.
The 1984 bit is especially weird because she couldn't even stick to the format. Like, short, 3-word sentences, "X is Y," and she follows that with this unwieldy construction about a "penised individual." She's supposed to be a professional writer!
She's following the path of Glinner and other British Terfs, where eventually trans people will be literally all she talks about. There's something about that specific strain of transphobia, that it takes over your life completely, even if it means destroying your career and marriage.
It's so shitty that these chuds always try to use the veneer of social justice language to attack left wingers. Like they'll spend hours a day online ranting about how they hate identity politics then turn around and be like "actually I'm asian and it's racist to criticize the things I say and do."
Back in like 2018, Glenn was rightfully dunking on the IDW crowd, Bari Weiss, etc, and debunking their fake outrage over "campus free speech".
He clearly knows it's bullshit, and it's really disappointing that now he acts like he doesn't. All the more disappointing because it seems to be cynical and motivated by money.
A common business model for open source software is to give the software away (because it's open source) but charge for licenses that come with tech support, responsiveness to bug reports, etc. This is basically Red Hat's whole thing.
Conversely, and I don't know if this is the case with your particular program, it's not uncommon for software to be open source because it incorporates a bunch of existing open source code, so by GPL or whatever it has to be free as well. In these cases the company might try to downplay or obscure the fact, or not make it easy to build it yourself, because they want you to buy their version.
Yeah, they all got laid off from CollegeHumor in 2020, and decided to form an independent media company together.
If you listen to hardcore transphobes they will half-heartedly try to explain how it could be enforced but they don't actually care. They know cis women aren't in any danger in bathrooms and they only pretend otherwise as a rhetorical trick. To them it's all a way of legitimizing harassment and discrimination.
Dore sucks but he's also just some weird YouTuber. No one who isn't terminally online even knows who he is. Putting him in a list with like Biden is an indication she literally can't tell the difference between real life and obscure Twitter flame wars.
The thing is, if he was actually a principled anti-capitalist he wouldn't make this kind of mistake. You went over some of the reasons why. Like, if the vaccine really was dangerous and didn't work, they'd give it to poor people first, but the opposite happened---all the rich people are fully vaxxed and the global poor can't get it. Capital is clearly desperate to end the lockdown and get people out spending money again.
He's not being anti-capitalist here, he's buying into culture war bullshit.
He's right about a lot of things, and he's done good work, but if the "establishment" says a vaccine is good, he has to be against it. That's what happens when your politics are formed in reaction to something, rather than formed around a coherent political ideology.
It would be one thing if they were just lying and spreading propaganda, but the way they talk about it... They legitimately believe this. Like, the idea that they couldn't pay to put their children in elite private school legitimately seems like not really living to them. People without money don't live, aren't alive, aren't people.
Trying to get them fired by sending things via their email will be tricky, since they can pretty plausibly claim they didn't send it. IT can pull logs, and even if they can't be used to identity you, they can demonstrate someone other than your boss sent the email. So, a mass email from their account won't do much. Especially if it's something out of character for them to send
Here's an alternative: If you have access to their communication and can find something bigoted they sent in private, you can forward that message out to the whole department. It was a real email and records will show they sent it, even if foul play was involved in exposing it.
I'd take this result with a grain of salt, just like you would a survey asking Americans what they think of politics and economics. IIRC a lot of affection for the Soviet years in modern Russia isn't due to the government or its policies but a more vague cultural attachment to the sense of cultural/national strength, and the old fashioned cultural norms.
Like, if you see Americans saying "make America great again, like it was in the 50s/60s," they don't mean they want to restore the postwar tax rate and new deal social programs.
That's the best part! It's implicit in all these posts that are like "men are so gross, my ex never showered and ate food off the floor all the time, I dated him for 3 years"
Yeah she didn't really engage with the criticism of Buck Angel. He's a huge piece of shit and she (kinda) defended him. She did acknowledge other problems with what he said about non-binary people, etc, but in the context of hand-waving it all away, like "yeah he's wrong about this, why do you care so much?"
But the context was that she was at the center of a Twitter witch hunt because of a 15 second voice clip in one of her videos, which didn't endorse or even mention any of Buck's problematic views. People were hounding random other YouTubers just for being friendly with her, even if they had nothing to do with the controversy. It was crazy.
