Back in like 2018, Glenn was rightfully dunking on the IDW crowd, Bari Weiss, etc, and debunking their fake outrage over "campus free speech".

He clearly knows it's bullshit, and it's really disappointing that now he acts like he doesn't. All the more disappointing because it seems to be cynical and motivated by money.

Glenn was so, so butthurt that he wasn't allowed on MSNBC or CNN for commentary that he changed his stripes and started playing a chud.

Glenn is motivated by fame more than money I think.

Kinda think he's just legitimately angry at the kinds of absolute hacks that succeed on CNN and MSNBC. There is much to be angry about in that.

Given that his reporting exposed that the jailing of Lula was a conspiracy by Bolsanaro's minister of justice, his husband is a member of parliament for the Brazilian Trotskites, and gangs related to Bolsanaro have murdered a popular member of that party, and drove another one out of the country, I think a possible theory is that he wants to remain in the spotlight as much as possible, to avoid becoming their next victim.

The grift label is amazing because it's essentially arguing who is and isn't a legitimate member of a fake movement.

Gotta disagree with Adam on this one. The word "Grift" has never seen more play because its just fucking everywhere. My mailbox is full of it. My phones are ringing off the hook with it. My TV and internet vomit it at me every five minutes. Its behind every corner, under every rock, and hidden in the branches of every tree.

Just grifts galore. Everywhere. I can't escape them.

I unironically genuinely believe at this point that America is nothing more then a gigantic series of MLM grifts and Pyramid schemes all semi interconnected and propping one another up.

All that free cash from the Fed had to go somewhere, and it certainly didnt end up in our pockets.

Love it when shitty people fight. Still remember Adam blockin my ass for tell him it's kinda shitty to keep saying "triggered" as synonymous with "angry" a few years back when it was mostly just being used to mock people with trauma.

Saying it doesn't, but responding to someone being like "hey dirtbag left shitposting is one thing but it's not really a good thing to be doing this in serious discourse" by blocking them immediately puts someone firmly in Extremely Shitty Dudebro territory as far as I'm concerned.

His boring ass podcast is tedious but not actually harmful (well, except for its tendency as act as a purely negative project that demoralizes and burns out listeners)

When a word like "grift" is broadly used, it doesn't lose meaning. It gains meaning and I'm going to keep using it until it means everything.
