Absolutely take it as an opportunity to reduce your video content consumption. I like the invidious solution because I don't get notifications and it takes a bit more effort to manually open the link in the web client so I tend not to watch videos I'm only half interested in.

If you have in comments or post told people you live in a certain town and that town has 10000 people, cutting the pool by 50% or more is bad.

My best guess would be a mix of covid money from many countries going to the rich increasing the wealth gap, gas and oil companies hiking prices because of Russia even though a lot of them have no link to Russian oil or gas and causing a knock on effect. You've also got a number of bubbles around the world such as housing and car loans, these are definitely caused by greed.

50% of their mod team is trans and they are one of the few instances with pronouns built in to it. They have a good argument that of the biggest instances they are the most trans friendly. Can't speak for smaller instances or individual communities though.
