Get an anthology. Decide if you want just contemporary poetry or if you wanna go way back and read romantics or whatever. Then see what stands out to you as you flip through. Or pick a region and see who's come from their. Or a time and place if you wanna know who wrote the poetry of a period of interest to you. Or check the literary awards and see who won/ was nominated in poetry that look good. I recommend the National Book Critics Circle Awards.

  • I'm on Podcast Addict. I used to have Podbean. I forget why I ultimately switched. But I was definitely put off by the random live radio shows it would serve up frontpage and definitely by these suggestions as well. It made me wonder if their was any agenda, or if these shows are really so popular that it was just an honest reflection of what people listen to for them to be always in my face. Ended up listening to a lot of Mark Levin. Just kidding! Also, I remember having to remember to turn off automatic downloads anytime I followed a new show or else end up having to delete tons of accidentally download eps

  • This is probably a worthless unnecessary comment but I started Foundation Trilogy by Asimov once and it was the driest most emotionally stunted shit I've ever read. But then this is pretty much how I feel about most sci Fi fantasy. The first five or so Lethem novels are really awesome though, I'd reccomend those.

  • Maybe you can put money on a different kind of spending card. I don't know what to call it. Like a refillable card. This is what my gf does to buy things online and it may not show your info that way. She does it so her purchase doesn't connect anything to her primary account. Edit. Ah I see someone has kind of described this already but I'll leave the comment anyway for post activities sake I guess

sorry, I think this rules. The biggest stupidest anti vaxxers in the US go around saying, " those covid authoritarians made me have mental issues because I couldn't go to church or restaurants or the gym or online date and I was so victimized." I don't know what they're saying the impact on kids was, but it is also probably being overblown by a media that knows people will pay attention to debates like this
