Ultima V might just be one of the best games that I have ever played. Given its age, it was astounding to find a game with such maturity in its design and storytelling. It is the kind of thing that I could gush about for hours if I had the opportunity and ability to collect my thoughts. (I suppose the video author actually managed to!)
Ultima enlightened: Play Moonring if you haven't!

Bash and Emacs. I try to do things using Emacs functionality (like dired) over using a terminal when possible, but sometimes you just gotta.
Regarding Proton: you simply enable it in the Steam settings for both supported and unsupported games, download the various runtimes (under "tools" in the Steam library), and then it basically just works. The only games that have poor Proton support are generally online games using third party anticheat. I've personally never encountered issues with anything else.
Some clients like Jerboa will allow you to specify an arbitrary URL for which instance to use. However, cool tech issues mean that it doesn't work right now.
.ml's description used to be "A community of leftist privacy and FOSS enthusiasts, run by Lemmy’s developers." They took "leftist" away around the time of the Reddit thing so they wouldn't scare people off, I guess.
