I read the books this year because I wanted to feel pain, basically, and I wanted to be justified in disliking Harry Potter. I was not disappointed. However, I still don't understand how the fuck the end of the book worked. It was so harebrained and convoluted and sloppy as fuck that I don't know what actually happened. Am I stupid or was it a bad ending? And what the fuck happened? How did they actually kill Voldemort?

"If I had a Horcrux, I would drop it in the bottom of the ocean or I would put it in a pyramid with King Tut and all of his jewels. Or I would blast it into space with a monkey who knew nothing about Horcruxes."

Nu-Atheist Harry Potter rewrite is basically one of the most nightmarish abominations you can possibly conceptualize

A Very Potter Musical, one of the best things to come out of Harry Potter, probably second only to Wizard People, Dear Reader.

It's legit fantastic. It's an audiobook narrative retelling of the first movie, synced up to the first movie. Pokes a lot of fun at the monomyth, but also has some really poetic lines. The main one on Youtube is the first version, but I highly recommend looking for the second recording, it's got a lot more polish.
